So LPIC. Linux Professional Institute Certification. For the sake of blogginess I will post what I'm doing this year (even though YOU know). I will study for the LPIC 1 certification first semester. It is composed of two exams. As you can hopefully discern from the name of the cert this is a cert for Linux (Professionals!). The beginning of the book is all about basic computer things. I plan on buying another book (or you could buy me one with that budget of yours :) because this book is slightly outdated. The book assumes that there are still deb and rpm tests instead of one.

I will also work on a server but I'm not sure how that will work out at the moment. Yup.

Zentyal Post 2 thing

So as I said I'm trying to set up LTSP/Zentyal in a VM but still keeping things nice. At the moment there isn't official support for LTSP (there will be) and there doesn't seem to be much demand for it from the community. Hopefully it will be released soon but I'll just attempt to get it working as is.

Also LPIC. I guess I'll start reading the book. I haven't actually read it yet but it thankfully comes with a .pdf so I can read it at home. I'll try and find a test online so I can see my current abilities. Hopefully I'll be adequate.
